Igaming operator Betsson has inked a new partnership deal with the South American Football Confederation, known as CONMEBOL for short, and will become the official betting sponsor of Copa América 2021 for the region.

The partnership negotiated with the South American Football Confederation reflects the company’s big commitment to football and allows Betsson to reach new audiences through its CONMEBOL Copa América 2021 exposure.

Latin America has been a pivotal market for the group, which has either launched new operations or established its presence in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and Mexico in 2020 and 2021. As a result, Betsson Operations CEO, Jesper Svensson, feels confident about the company’s future in the region, commenting:
