American igaming provider Scientific Games recently announced a partnership with Estonian game developer Playtech. The agreement between the two companies will see both increase their distribution across the markets they’re both involved in. These are two of the biggest companies involved in the igaming industry, so a partnership between them can potentially have a large impact.
The deal aims to be mutually beneficial to both Scientific Games and Playtech, allowing both companies to gain from each other’s connections and access to particular markets. The move comes not long after Scientific Games announced a series of partnerships and acquisitions of other providers, helping the company to expand its reach across Canada as well as Europe.
Which Areas Will This Partnership Affect?
The Open Gaming System offered by Scientific Games will make Playtech’s software available to operators all over the world. This partnership covers the full range of Playtech’s popular online casino services, including its games such as slots, table games, and live casino offerings. All of these games can now be integrated with Scientific Games’ features and promotions. The OGS will initially roll out Playtech’s game material in New Jersey, with more states to follow across the US.
